FAQ

IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER?

Minimum order size for first time customers is 36 pieces of each style of garment. For established customers we will print smaller orders, but please be aware that screen printing requires the same amount of set-up for 1 shirt or 1,000, and price per shirt increases substantially.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DONE?

Turnaround times vary depending on the season. At our busiest, we can generally get everything ready within 10 business days. A better question to ask is “Can my shirts be ready by X day?” If you need your order in fewer than 5 working days rush charges may apply. Your shirts will be ready to pick up at 4pm on your deadline day. If you need them done by a specific time please let us know when you place your order.

DO YOU KEEP MY SCREENS?

We do not keep screens, but we do keep film on file if you need to print the same design again. Even if screens were saved they must be set on the press, inked, and washed for each order.

HOW MUCH ARE SETUP CHARGES PER SCREEN?

Unless specifically stated, there are no setup charges. The price that we quote you per shirt includes everything except OKC sales tax of 8.675%. On certain orders there may additional charges for art, rush, color change, or oversize prints. You will be informed about these costs before placing your order.

CAN I ADD ONE MORE SHIRT TO MY ORDER?

Once we have finished printing an order, any additional shirts are a completely separate order and will be priced as such. It is a good idea to get as accurate of an initial count as possible, or add a few extras just in case. Please do not place your order until you have finalized your sizes and quantities.

WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

A deposit of 50% is required to start an order, and the remaining balance is due at time of pickup.

MAY I PROVIDE MY OWN APPAREL?

Yes, if they are suitable for screen printing:

  • No seams in the print area
  • A single layer of fabric in the print area
  • Fabric must be heat resistant
  • Fits onto our printing pallets
  • At least 12 pieces of each style provided
  • All tags and packaging removed

At least 1 and up to 5 additional shirts must be supplied for setting up depending on the complexity of the print.

HOW SHOULD MY ART BE FORMATTED?

We prefer vector art as an Adobe Illustrator file, with all text converted to outlines.

If you’re going with pixels, please create the file to be 300 dpi at the full print size, and save as a PSD, TIF, or JPG. If using Photoshop, please keep the layers rather than flattening the image. In most cases we will need to completely recreate this type of art, so keeping track of all fonts used as well as retaining original copies of images can be very helpful.

If you are drawing your art by hand, please use black ink on white paper. If there will be multiple colors do not fill them in on the same paper. Make a copy and fill the colors in on that, which we can use for reference.

Send over whatever you can, and we will tell you if we can work with it. If we need to help prepare your art for print, you will be charged $30 per hour. We will let you know in advance if this will be the case.

CAN YOU PRINT A PHOTOGRAPH ONTO A SHIRT?

Photographs and other shading are screen printed onto your shirt using halftones. A lot of detail can get lost in the process, and we only recommend it for use with high quality professional photos.

On orders of 144+ pieces, we can screen print photographs using a technique called simulated process.

For smaller orders where color is needed, if you want to keep the detail, or when you don't have a high quality photo; we suggest direct to garment printing.

HOW BIG CAN THE ARTWORK BE ON MY GARMENT?

Your art will be printed at the same size on all of your shirts. The art must be small enough to fit on the smallest shirt in your order (including youth sizes). If you have a specific size for your artwork in mind, please indicate that. Otherwise we will use our best judgment based on the style of the shirt and the art.

In general we size art to be 4” wide over the heart, 10.5” wide on the front, and 12” wide on the back. Our standard maximum print size is 15”x15”. If you want something larger we may be able to print it. Include this information in your quote request.

MAY I MIX SHIRT STYLES & COLORS IN THE SAME ORDER?

Yes, if the same ink colors work on all of the shirts. If we have to use different ink colors, there is a $10 charge for each change.

WHY AREN’T THE INK COLORS THE SAME AS MY OTHER ORDER?

We custom mix the majority of our ink colors for every job that we print. If you are reordering a design and need an exact color match, we will need to see one of the original shirts to match to.
